When we discussed the artwork for the food truck, we knew we wanted to request a custom commission from one of our many talented artist friends.
We wanted a fun, comic book style of characterization for our logo. There was one person in our friend group that immediately stood out.
We admittedly gave him a relatively vague list of things we were hoping to see in the design: 1940’s style, some sort of airplane, a likeness of our son. Such instructions were difficult enough to abide by, but we also wanted to make sure it represented the style of food we will be serving.
The result, after a few rounds of tweaks, is a design we could not be more pleased with.
I would highly recommend checking out the work of Stirling Little on Instagram. He’s doing amazing work, and we could not be happier that he designed our logo.
